Quiet Relaxing Waiting Area No nasty smells or drooling barking dogs to torment your cat if you need to wait!

We chose to use a lot of wood to offset the bright hospital. All the wood is coated with urethane, so it can be easily cleaned and disinfected, and will not absorb odours . No Stress Waiting Area - No Barking Dogs Our reception and waiting area is informal, with books and magazines scattered around, and soft background music. There are NO food or product displays - Tom is a PEST when it comes to tearing open food bags so everything is kept in the cupboards. Unfortunately the main HEPA filter unit for our clean air system was placed above the reception area, and we are finding it rather noisy when it runs. We will be planning to resolve this as soon as financially feasible. (Ask for the story!)

The exam rooms are also informal, the doctor often ends up on the floor with the cat. Some cats really are more comfortable being examined this way. For those who prefer heights, the cat-sized exam table can move anywhere in the room. To give us privacy, Euphemia Redden painted the windows of the exam rooms. Being so new, there are a lot of small finishing touches still to be done. Our Hospital is wheelchair accessible from the side door, into a nice large exam room. The medical and treatment room has wide walkways so visiting your hospitalised cat is easy as well.
